Stylish and functional, this contemporary platform bed has six underbed storage drawers for clothing and extra linens. Its overall design is very boxy and modern, enhanced by a bold Black finish. No box spring is needed with this popular platform bed design! Solid wood slats support the mattress while helping to distribute weight evenly and limit motion transfer. Underneath the platform are six storage drawers-- three on each side-- mounted on metal roller glides for smooth and easy operation. They also have finger pulls instead of handles, preventing snagged bed linens and keeping the bed's contemporary look clean and simple. A matching Bookcase Headboard, sold separately, may be added to this bed!
